Paul Andrews is a UK-based Illustrator & Artist. Hence the name of this website. Always known as the kid that could draw in school, his teachers often told him to stop drawing cartoons. Needless to say, he didn’t listen. Ironically, his first freelance commission came whilst still in school, when a teacher paid him £5.00 to draw a series of cartoons.
Paul went on to study art & design for two years at sixth-form college, but didn’t complete much work due to the realisation that he could hang out with pretty girls and go drinking instead; he stands by this decision to this day. After scraping his way into University, Paul buckled down and actually did some work, graduating with a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts honours degree and a prestigious D&AD Award for Advertising Design & Media.
Paul currently resides in the south of England and balances his working life both as a freelance Artist & Illustrator and in the colourful world of advertising & media. He is a Wes Anderson enthusiast, a LEGO Master Builder, a bad dancer, a snappy dresser and functions on a diet rich in caffeine, sarcasm, and an excessive amount of cinema.
